HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 32789 of 2012 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.1 to 3 in not implementing the orders passed by respondent No.2 in No.A3/2536/2007 dated 31.07.2008 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Transfer of Prohibition) Act No.9 of 1977; and consequently to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to implement the orders passed by respondent No.2 forthwith.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to an appropriate authority for implementation of the orders No.A3/2536/2007, dated 31.07.2008 passed by respondent No.2.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the circumstances stated above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make a representation before respondent No.3 seeking implementation of the order No.A3/2536/2007 dated 31.07.2008 passed by respondent No.2, in which event the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of making of the application. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
