HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 23131 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development. There is no necessity to put the unofficial respondents on notice as this Court is not venturing to adjudicate the issue on merits.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any action to stop the dairy milk business of respondents 6 to 8, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of fundamental rights.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to dispose of the representation dated 23.06.2016 at the earliest.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to dispose of the representation dated 23.06.2016 made by the petitioners, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in

this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
