O R D E R :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under section 438 of Cr.P.C., seeking for grant of anticipatory bail in Crime No. 102 of 2018 Bachupally Police Station, Cyberabad, Telangana State, registered for the offences punishable under section 307 of I.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused and the learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State.

3. The case against the petitioner is that the petitioner attempted to kill the defacto-complainant, Sri M. Surendra Babu with a knife and he tried to stab him and when he tried to save himself, the petitioner stabbed the defacto-complainant with a knife on his buttock and he sustained lacerated injury.

4. The nature of the allegations that the petitioner attacked the defacto-complaint with a knife and caused bleeding injury on his right buttock would not advice this court to grant him anticipatory bail.

5. Considering the above, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. The petitioner can surrender before the concerned court and seek regular bail. On such surrender, the concerned court shall consider the bail application on merits.

6. In the result, this Criminal Petition is dismissed.

7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
