O R D E R

(per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience to the order dated 08.12.2014 passed by this Court in PIL No.306 of 2014. By the said order, this Court required the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to verify as to whether any building permission had been granted and if such permission was granted in accordance with law, whether there had been any deviation in construction by any persons and if so, the steps proposed to be taken.

The Commissioner, GHMC, filed a counter-affidavit stating that respondents 4 and 5 in the writ petition were granted building permission in accordance with law and there was no deviation in the construction carried out by the said respondents pursuant thereto. He further stated that the GHMC officials visited the construction site on 17.07.2015 and verified this aspect.

In the light of the aforestated counter-affidavit averments, this Court finds no grounds made out warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction. The contempt case is accordingly dismissed.
