ORDER:

Feeling aggrieved by the inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in furnishing information to the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (for short 'the Act'), as sought by her through applications, dated 31.7.2015 and 05.11.2015, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition.

At the hearing, Mr. Mir Masod Khan, learned

counsel for the petitioner, has not disputed that under Section-19 of the Act, the petitioner has several statutory remedies including a Second Appeal to the State Information Commission. Instead of working out her remedies under the provisions of the said Act, the petitioner has unnecessarily invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under Article-226 of the Constitution of India. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies under the Act.
