This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents 2 and 3 in proceeding with the investigation on the basis of the complaint, dated 23.02.2019, lodged by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to proceed with the investigation on the basis of the said complaint lodged by the petitioner. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though there is commission of cognizable offence by the 4th respondent and others, no action has been taken by the respondents 2 and 3 on the complaint, dated 23.02.2019, lodged by the petitioner. 4 .

When a complaint is lodged, the Station House Officer concerned is required to dispose of the same in accordance with law. 5 .

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
