Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner challenged the show cause notice dated 4.11.2006 issued by respondent authorities. This court on 24.11.2006 while admitting the writ petition, granted interim suspension of the impugned order and by virtue of the same, petitioner was continued in service and retired on attaining the age of superannuation and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand dismissed.
