None appears for the petitioner.

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "....to issue writ or direction preferably writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in allotting contract i.e. providing private contract labour for maintenance of sanitation work from Ward Nos.1 to 24 of Yellandu, Khammam District and issuing of work order vide proceedings in ROC.No.E1/03/09, dated 18.07.2009, in favour of respondent No.3 is illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently set aside the said allotment and further direct respondent No.2 to allot contract in favour of petitioner...."

While admitting the writ petition on 24.09.2009, this Court has not passed any interim order interdicting respondent No.3 in executing the work awarded to him.

A perusal of the record clearly shows that the contract awarded in favour of respondent No.3 for the year 2009-2010 has already been expired. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J Dt:20.09.2018 kdl
