In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 1 and 2 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 135 of 2012 on the file of the Court of VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad registered for the offence punishable under Section 324 read with Section 34 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 09-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Asifnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 12-12-2015 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 135 of 2012, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
