THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32485 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that his vehicle bearing registration No.AP 22 AQ 0361 was not produced before the competent Court by the excise authorities despite being seized.

Relying on the written instructions dated 13.10.2015, furnished by the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Gonegundla Police Station, Kurnool District, the learned Assistant Government Pleader informed this Court that the vehicle was produced before the Court of the learned Additional Junior Civil Judge, Adoni, on 14.02.2015. A charge sheet was also laid in the case in September, 2015. In the light of these developments, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled. It shall be open to the petitioner to take appropriate action in the matter before the competent Court in accordance with law. The writ petition is therefore closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
