THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Crl.M.P.Nos.5699 and 5700 of 2016 & CRIMINAL PETITION No.4976 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.181 of 2015 on the file of the Giddalur Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A and 306 IPC.

When this matter has come up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Counsel for the 2nd respondent filed the above Crl.M.Ps, seeking permission to compound the above offences.

It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioner along with other accused committed murder of the deceased. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation in the above crime and to grant permission to compound the above offences. Accordingly, the above Crl.M.Ps and the Criminal Petition are dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court, if any charge sheet is filed against him.
