The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have not disposed of her representations, dated 07.02.2015 and 05.03.2015, seeking refund of the amount i.e., Rs.45,70,072/- paid for regularisation of unapproved layout/plot Nos. 1 and 2 in Survey No.563/1 of Bathukamma Kunta, Amberpet Village and Mandal, Hyderabad District. She asserts that she is not liable to pay the amount for regularisation as the Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976 has been repealed and the collection of the said amount itself is illegal.

Learned Standing Counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent No.2 submits that the representations of the petitioner would be disposed of within a reasonable time. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to consider the entitlement or otherwise of the petitioner for refund of the amount and pass orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
