HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.28965 OF 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be an absolute owner and possessor of Acs.0.28 guntas of vacant land with two rooms portion situated in Survey No.224 of Madeenaguda Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. When he applied for electricity connection, the same was provided on 13.05.2017. Within two weeks thereafter, when the said service connection was disconnected, the present writ petition is filed challenging the said action.

No counter affidavit is filed even after giving sufficient time. When the service connection was properly given to the petitioner, so long as the petitioner pays the regular electricity charges, the said service connection should not have been disconnected. In the circumstances, the respondents 3 to 5 are directed to restore the power supply to the petitioner and continue the same so long as the petitioner pays the regular electricity charges. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
