This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in C.C.No.327 of 2017 on the file of the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, LB Nagar, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A and 506 of Indian Penal Code and Sections and of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, against the petitioner/accused No.4.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Inspite of posting this matter under the caption 'infructuous matters' there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 03.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of Letter dated 02.11.2022 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, W.P.S. Saroornagar, stating that the matter has been posted for examination of witnesses.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
