THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.7436 OF 2018 O R D E R :

Petitioner's grievance is that he is eligible for consideration for promotion to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police(Civil) but his case has been overlooked and his juniors have been promoted.

Counsel for petitioner contends that petitioner had submitted a representation on 05.09.2017 to the 4th respondent seeking said promotion as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police but the 4th respondent has not passed any orders on the said representation.

The Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents states that the 4th respondent will consider petitioner's representation within a period of six (06)weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

In view of the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider petitioner's representation dt.05.09.2017 within a period of six (06)weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
