This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "... to issue an appropriate order, writ or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the representations of the petitioner dated 12.11.2001, 05.10.2018 and 20.03.2019 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1724, dated 25.07.1969 and also the recent G.Os. issued as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 12.11.2001, 05.10.2018 and 20.03.2019 as per the report dated 14.09.2010 of respondent No.4 in allotting land admeasuring Ac.0.15 guntas in Survey No.272 situated at Kothapalli Haveli Village, Karimnagar Mandal, Karimnagar District in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1724 dated 25.07.1969 and also the recent G.Os issued, as early as possible, within the reasonable time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and perused the record. 3.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that there is a Government land admeasuring Ac.0.15 guntas in Sy.No.272 between the lands purchased by the petitioner and his family members. The petitioner made representations dated 12.11.2001, 05.10.2018 and 20.03.2019 to the respondent authorities for allotment of the said land in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1724, dated 25.07.1969. The 3rd respondent herein/ Revenue Divisional Officer, Karimnagar, conducted survey and addressed a letter dated 21.05.2006 to the District Collector, Karimnagar to issue orders for allotment of said land in favour of the petitioner after collecting the proposed market value @ Rs.1.00 lakh per acre i.e, Rs.37,500/ - for Ac.0.15 guntas. But so far, no action has been taken by the District Collector, Karimnagar.

It is evident from the record that the petitioner made several representations to the respondent authorities to allot Ac.0.15 guntas of land adjacent to his land. There is also proposal from the 3rd respondent herein/ Revenue Divisional Officer, Karimnagar, to allot the said land in favour of the petitioner vide letter dated 21.05.2016 addressed to the 2nd respondent herein/ District Collector, Karimnagar, but no action has been taken so far. 5.

In the given circumstances, the 2nd respondent/ District Collector, Karimnagar, has to examine the representations made by the petitioner as per the governing regulations with regard to allotment of Government land and dispose of those representations. 6.

Under these circumstances, the 2nd respondent/ District Collector is directed to examine the issues involved in the representations dated 12.11.2001, 05.10.2018 and 20.03.2019 submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of three(3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
