This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring inaction of the respondents in taking action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 29-08-2017 for promotion to the post of 'attender' and not payping salary under 010 head as per Rules framed under G.O.Ms.No.221, dated 13-07-2009, as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India.

Heard Sri Ch. Janardhan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-II, appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner contends that he was appointed as sweeper with the respondents on daily wage basis during October 1994. Later on, he was promoted as watchman. He also contends that he is fully eligible and qualified to be promoted as 'attender' and he is entitled to get salaries under 010 head of the Rules framed under G.O.Ms.No.221, dated 13-07-2009. Therefore, he has
AKS,J W.P.No.9522 of 2019 submitted representation on 29-08-2017 to that effect. But the respondents are not passing any orders on the said representation. 5.
Learned Government Pleader for Services-II, appearing for the respondents, submits that the respondents will consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner submitted on 29-08-2017 in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner made on 29-08-2017 in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 7.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
