THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL WRIT PETITION No.23408 of 2016 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for issue of Habeas Corpus directing release of the detenu detained under the provisions of the Telangana Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers Act, 1986. At the hearing, Mr. M.Damodar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that since the period of detention has expired, the detenu has been released and, therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.
