THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7872 of 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed, under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 7 seeking bail in Crime No.2 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Donkarai Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

At the time of arguments, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, East Godavari at Rajamahendravaram, to dispose of S.C.No.125 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, East Godavari at Rajamahendravaram, is hereby directed to dispose of S.C.No.125 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, as the petitioners are in jail since long time.
