FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH * * * THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 40040 OF 2015 BETWEEN Madugula Chandraiah and others ... PETITIONERS AND The State of Telangana, rep. by its Principal Secretary and others ...RESPONDENTS Date of Order pronounced: 10.12.2015 ORDER:- Heard.
2. Petitioners being aggrieved by the order of the Tahsildar, fourth respondent, in File No.B/6800/2013 dated 16.09.2015, have preferred an appeal viz., Appeal No.C/7463/2015 before the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), third respondent, along with an application for stay. Petitioners state that though they requested for passing appropriate urgent orders, the appeal is being adjourned from time to time and no orders are being passed by the third respondent atleast on the stay petition. Apprehending that petitioners will be dispossessed on account of the
impugned order of the Tahsildar, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Keeping in view the pendency of petitioners' appeal along with the stay petition for long, I deem it appropriate to direct the third respondent to fix a date for hearing on the stay petition within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass appropriate orders at least to the extent of stay petition filed by the petitioners.
With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
