HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2937 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.423 of 2015 on the file of VIII Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar.

When this matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in this case, charges were already framed.

In that view of the matter, this is not a fit case to quash the proceedings as the trial court found prima facie case of the cognizance of the matter and already framed the charges. Therefore, this Criminal Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the framing of the charges against them if they so propose by way of suitable proceedings. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
