HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4231 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.281 of 2011 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Godavarikhani, Karimnagar District, which was registered against him for the offences under Sections 498A, 506 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 05.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Godavarikhani I Town PS., Karimnagar District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 29.12.2006 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.281 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioner.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
