THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.2467 of 2019 ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.457 of 2018 pending on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nalgonda, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Though the present criminal petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer to the extent that the personal appearance of the petitioners/A.2 to A.5 before the trial Court may be exempted on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioners is not in dispute, their presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioners/A.2 to A.5 in C.C.No.457 of 2018 pending on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nalgonda, is hereby dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the Court. 5.
With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________ G. SRI DEVI, J 6th June 2019.
