The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is inaction on the part of the respondents 1 to 5 on the representation said to have been made by the petitioners herein on 05.09.2017, wherein the petitioners requested not to renew the licence of the sixth respondent's wine shop. 2.

Despite service of notice, there is no representation on behalf of the 6th respondent.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the representation, dated 05.09.2017, submitted by the petitioners herein is pending consideration before respondents 1 to 5 and no action has been taken.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that, if any such representation is pending consideration before the respondents, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken strictly in accordance with law.

Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the respondents 2 to 4 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 05.09.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, as expeditiously as

possible. It is also open for the petitioners to submit a further representation, if any, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
