SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.2845 OF 2018 ORDER:
This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is sole accused, in Crime No.168 of on the file of Anandapuram Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. The offences alleged are under Sections 406, 419 and 420 of IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner collected amounts from the defacto complainant, promising to provide a job to him, but, later he cheated the complainant and is not answering his calls. The public prosecutor submits that about twenty persons were cheated by the petitioner.

Hence, considering the above, this Court opines that it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. 5.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
However, in the event of any necessity of arrest of the petitioner, the police shall strictly follow Section 41A of
Cr.P.C. and the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar1.
