HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.9192 of 2019 ORDER:

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission itself. This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the representation dated 03.01.2019 submitted by the petitioner for regularizing his services from Daily Wage Sweeper to a regular employee in the respondent Company pursuant to the orders dated 14.08.2001 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.13341 of 2001, as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of principles of natural justice and a consequential direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 03.01.2019. Heard Sri V.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Daily Wage Sweeper during the year 1992 and he has completed more than 20 years of service, but the respondents are not considering the case of the petitioner for regularization in terms of the judgment dated 14.08.2001 rendered by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.13341 of 2001.

Having considered the rival submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 03.01.2019 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
