By order dated 12.10.2018, W.P.No.37434 of 2018 was disposed of directing the 4th respondent in the writ petition to examine the representations dated 28.05.2018 and 20.10.2018 submitted by the petitioner for issuing the Rythu Bandhu cheques for the subject lands and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within a period of four to six months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Alleging that the said order is violated, this contempt case is filed. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue produced a photo copy of Memo No.B1/987/2018, dated 12.06.2018, whereunder the request of the petitioner to issue new passbook and Rythu Bandhu cheques was rejected.

It is seen that the writ petition was filed in October, 2018; invited an order from this Court for consideration of the representations, which were already considered, and this contempt case is filed alleging that the said order of the Court is not implemented. Petitioner was aware of the orders passed on 12.06.2018 as the said copy was acknowledged by him on 13.06.2018, which can be seen from the photocopy filed by learned Government Pleader.

In view of the same, it is clear that the petitioner was misleading the Court by instituting the writ petition even though the representations were not pending and the claim to issue passbook and Rythu Bandhu cheques was rejected. Such conduct

- 3 - of the parties cannot be appreciated. Nothing prevented the petitioner from availing appropriate remedy as available in law, if so advised against the proceedings dated 12.06.2018. 5.

In view of the same, the contempt case is dismissed imposing costs of Rs.1,000/- payable to the Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee.
