Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the Civil Supplies (TS).
2. This writ petition is filed seeking writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 3 and 4 in not releasing the essential commodities in favour of the petitioner's F.P. Shop No.13, Gurudupet Village, Koutala Mandal, Adilabad District, even though the authorisation is subsisting, as illegal and arbitrary.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an application has been made for renewal of the licence, which is pending with the respondents. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for the Civil Supplies (TS) submits that the authorisation of the petitioner was expired. In any event, during the pendency of the renewal application, it is the duty of the respondents to supply essential commodities to the fair price shop of the petitioner.
4. Under these circumstances, the respondents are directed to supply the essential commodities to the fair price shop of the petitioner pending consideration of the renewal application filed by the petitioner, where under he sought renewal of the authorisation.
