THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 37454 OF 2012 O R D E R:

On 30.08.2016, since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the Writ Petition was directed to be listed 'for dismissal' next week. On 06.09.2016, when the matter was called in the morning session, there was no representation, again, on behalf of the petitioner and hence, it was passed over. In the After Noon, Sri. Rijwan Ali, learned counsel representing Sri M.V. Rajaram, learned counsel for the petitioner sought time. Therefore, the matter was adjourned to 20.09.2016, however, subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to the Registrar (Administration), but the said order has not been complied with, as is evident from the note put up by the Registry.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, neither the petitioner appears nor is there any representation on its behalf.

This Writ Petition has been instituted in 2012. The docket of this case shows that it has undergone 54 adjournments till now on one pretext or the other. In those circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has lost interest to pursue the Writ Petition. Hence, it is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand dismissed.
