ORAL ORDER:

Alleging that directions of this Court passed in W P No. 8633 of 2014 dated 21.3.2014, are not complied with, this contempt case is filed. When the matter is taken up, proceedings dated 10.2.2015 are produced, which disclose that the request of the petitioner as per the directions of this Court was considered and for the reasons assigned therein, the maintenance of parity of scales on par with another candidate is rejected. Having regard to the same, it cannot be said that the orders of this Court are not complied with, warranting initiation of proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act.

Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. However, liberty is granted to petitioner to avail the remedies available to him under law against the decision communicated to him by memo dated 10.2.2015. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
