This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of 3rd respondent in refusing to conduct dharna in peaceful manner on 27.04.2019 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to conduct dharna in a peaceful manner on 27.04.2019 at Indira Park Dharna Chowk."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents and perused the record.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioners intend to conduct dharna on 08.05.2019 and to that effect, they made an application to respondent No.2 on 29.04.2019, but no action has been taken thereon.

There is no dispute with regard to filing of the said application.

Under these circumstances, respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to examine the application of the petitioners dated 29.04.2019 and take necessary action in accordance with law. 6.
