The grievance of the petitioner is that 2nd respondent is not conducting election to the Kapavaram Fishermen Cooperative Society Limited, Kapavaram, Korukonda Mandal, East Godavari District though the tenure of the existing Managing Committee expired on 28-09-2014.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents states that the records of membership of the said Society are in the custody of the A.P. Cooperative Tribunal at Visakhapatnam and that an application for obtaining certified copies of the said records has already been filed on 20-12-2015 before the said Tribunal. Learned Government Pleader states that immediately after securing the records which would be made available shortly, respondents will commence the process of conducting election to the Managing Committee of the said Society and complete the same by 31-03-2016. 3.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to secure the

records from the A.P.

Cooperative Tribunal, Visakhapatnam as early as possible and commence and complete the process of election to the Managing Committee of the above Society on or before 31-03-2016. No costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
