HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.26093 of 2008 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed seeking compensation for the land acquired from the petitioner.
During the pendency of the writ petition, respondent - authorities had come up with a proposal to provide alternative site in lieu of the land acquired from the petitioner under Indiramma Housing Scheme.
Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition would submit that, initially though there was disagreement with respect to the land proposed to be given to the petitioner, particular piece of land was identified and the petitioner also agreed to receive the same.
In view of the agreement arrived at between the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to complete the entire proceedings of issuance of necessary documents in favour of the petitioner and also handing over physical possession after due survey and measurement. It is also made clear that assignment in favour of the petitioner shall be unconditional as the subject land is being given in lieu of land acquired from him. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. In case of
failure to comply with the order within the stipulated period of four weeks, respondent Nos.2 and 3 shall be held responsible personally.
