HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.6968 of 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: "....to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not granting permission to the petitioners on the day of Sivarathri i.e., 07.03.2016 and 8.3.2016 to carrying the traditional ceremoneyof carrying of 'Wooden Horse God' and pass through Agni Gundam at Katamaiah Temple, Chillivaripalli village of Tadimarri Mandal, Ananthapur District is illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant permission to the petitioners for performing the Sivarathri Festival and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

This Court, by order dated 03.03.2016 permitted the petitioners to carry on the traditional ceremony of carrying of 'Wooden Horse God' and pass through Agni Gundam at Katamaiah Temple, Chillivaripalli village of Tadimarri Mandal, Ananthapur District.

In view of the said interim order, the relief sought for in this writ petition was already granted by this Court, nothing survives in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
