THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 7715 of 2018 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not issuing re-tender notification for Shop Nos.1 to 37, situated at Shopping Complex MPDO Office Main Road, Achampet, Nagarkurnool District.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the leases granted in favour of the beneficiaries in respect of Shop Nos.1 to 37 were expired and respondent No.6 issued notices to the respective leaseholders on 16.02.2018 to vacate the shops. He further submits that so far, the respondent authorities have not taken any steps for issuing re-tender notification and thereby, depriving the revenue to the Mandal Praja Parishath apart from depriving the opportunity of participating in the auction proceedings to others.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.4 and 6 submits that some of the leaseholders, who had obtained leases, are continuing and efforts are being made to vacate them. He further submits that the respondent authorities are taking appropriate steps in accordance with law.

In the light of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to take necessary steps to issue re-tender notification for the shops in question and ensure maximum revenue to the Mandal Praja Parishath. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J Dt:14.03.2018 kdl
