The petitioners pray for the following relief: "........to declare the action of the respondents more particularly the action of respondents 3 and 4 in trying to interfere with peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioners herein of various extents of lands situated in Vedanthapuram Village of Koyyalagudem Mandal, West Godavari District for Distributory-IR Minor Branch Canal-I, Chintalapudi Lift Irrigation Scheme as specified in Annexure1 in pursuance of Notification under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 without passing any award and without paying any compensation as illegal, arbitrary and unjust......."

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the respondents have already set in motion the steps required under Act 30 of 2013 and the possession and enjoyment of petitioners will not be dispossessed, till the process initiated under Act 30 of 2013 is completed and compensation is paid to petitioners.

The statement of learned Government Pleader is placed on record.
