THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 13581 of 2015 ORDER:

Questioning the action of the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector in not disposing of the revision filed by the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.

It is the case of petitioner that she is the absolute owner of agricultural land over an extent of Ac.1-17 guntas and Ac.1-35 guntas in Survey Nos.602/A and 602/AA of Janwada village, Shankerpally mandal, Ranga Reddy district, having acquired the same through gift from her mother viz., Ameena Begum, vide registered gift deed Document No.6191/1996 dated 10.10.1996. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application to the Tahsildar on 15.19.1996 for mutation of her name in the revenue records. As the husband of the petitioner got employment in Bahrain, she left for Bahrain in the year 1996 itself. It is alleged that, taking advantage of the situation, the 3rd respondent, with the connivance of local revenue authorities, got his name mutated against Ac.0-37 guntas in Survey No.602/AA, which, in fact, is the petitioner's land.

The petitioner filed a statutory revision in October 2014 (numbered as No.D1/3100/2014), under Section 9 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, before the 2nd respondent seeking correction in revenue records, and notices were sent to all the parties in the revision. It is alleged that though the revision was filed in October 2014, the 2nd respondent has not yet disposed of the revision and taking advantage of the same, the 3rd respondent is trying to alienate the land.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

4. In the circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the

revision filed by the petitioner in revision No.D1/3100/2014, in accordance with law, within a period of five months from today.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. ____________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 30th April, 2015 ksm
