THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 8926 OF 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner who was engaged as a conductor with the A.P.S.R.T.C has been inflicted with the punishment of removal from service by the third respondent-Depot Manager on 11.12.2014 for the proven misconduct of cash and ticket irregularities. Against this punishment order of removal from service, the petitioner appears to have filed an appeal before the Deputy Chief Traffic Manager, A.P.S.R.T.C Medak Region, Sanga Reddy-the second respondent herein on 14.02.2015. Complaining that the said appeal has not been disposed of so far, the present writ petition is filed. Ends of justice would be better served if the second respondent is directed to deal with the appeal of the writ petitioner dated 14.02.2015 on merits and appropriate final orders are passed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a maximum period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. This writ petition accordingly stands disposed of after hearing Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for A.P.S.R.T.C. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending shall also stand closed. No costs.
