No representation on behalf of petitioners.

Learned Public Prosecutor submits that the Criminal Petition is not maintainable for quashing of the proceedings under Domestic Voilence Act as there is a provision for appeal provided under DVC Act and the petitioner may resort to that remedy. However, this matter was posted on 25.10.2017 under the caption 'For Dismissal' but none appeared on the previous occasion and also even today. Therefore, this Criminal Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution in the light of the submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor.

Consequently, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Petition, shall stand closed.
