This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in Cr.No.143 of 2011, against the petitioners, who are A1 and A2, on the file of the Station House Officer, Duvvur Police Station, Duvvur Mandal, Y.S.R District. The offences alleged are under Sections 406, 417, 420, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Duvvur Police Station, Kadapa District, dated 20.08.2018 stating that after investigation, the case was referred as false and a finale report is filed before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Mydukur on 14.11.2011. In the light of the above, the criminal petition is allowed and the proceedings in Cr.No.143 of 2011, against the petitioners, who are A1 and A2, on the file of the Station House Officer, Duvvur Police Station, Duvvur Mandal, Y.S.R District, are hereby quashed.
