Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Municipality. 2.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. 3.

The petitioner alleges that the subject property owned by her is sought to be demolished by the respondent - Municipality on the ground that there is a proposal to widen the road. 4.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Municipality, on instructions, submits that as of now there is no proposal to widen the road in front of the property of the petitioner. However, he would submit that if the property of the petitioner is required for any public purpose, including widening of the road, the respondent - Municipality shall follow the due procedure, as envisaged, to acquire the private property for public purpose. 5.

Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
