HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.16907 OF 2003 ORDER:

[When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioners.

A perusal of the record discloses that originally the writ petition was filed by one K. Veerabhadra Swamy challenging the action of the respondents in treating him as 'unfit for service'. A consequential direction was also sought to the respondents to continue the original petitioner in service.

During pendency of the writ petition, the said Veerabhadra Swamy died on 12.02.2016 and later his legal representatives have been brought on record by orders dated 30.11.2016. Now the issue is about payment of service benefits of the deceased petitioner to his legal representatives.

If the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner submit an application seeking termination benefits and other benefits to which the deceased petitioner was entitled to get from the respondents, the respondents would disburse the amounts in favour of the legal representatives of the deceased employee in accordance with law, if not already disbursed.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 5th December, 2019 v v
