THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.12507 of 2011 ORDER:

Neither is Smt. N(P) Anjana Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner, present nor is there any representation on her behalf. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Endowments. The proceedings, under challenge in this writ petition, is the order dated 08.03.2011 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Endowments, Visakhapatnam appointing the 2nd respondent herein (Executive Officer Grade-I, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Port Area, Visakhapatnam) as a single trustee for a period of two years from the date of taking oath of office and secrecy.

As the stipulated period of two years, referred to in the proceedings dated 08.03.2011, expired on 08.03.2013 or soon thereafter, i.e two years from the date of taking over charge as a single trustee, it is evident that the cause in the writ petition no longer survives, and the writ petition has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
