This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in not registering the petitioner's report dated 25.04.2019 as FIR, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, to direct respondent No.4 to register FIR and also to direct respondent No.2 to initiate departmental action against respondent No.4 in not registering the petitioner's report dated 25.04.2019 as FIR pending disposal of the writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Home, appearing for respondents and perused the record.

Even if there is any lapse on the part of respondent No.4 in not registering the FIR, it is not appropriate to direct respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police to order an enquiry against respondent No.4. Further, the petitioner could not file a single copy of document to establish that the disputed electrical meter for Service connection No.H2000404 belongs to him. 4.

Under these circumstances, no order is required to be passed as prayed for. The petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

The Writ Petition is dismissed accordingly.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
