Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Services for respondents.

The petitioner's grievance is that she is working as Grade-II Hostel Welfare Officer, that she possesses qualifications for promotion to the post of Grade-II Hostel Welfare Officer and in spite of representations dt.04.10.2016 and April, 2017, the 1st respondent has not passed any orders thereon.

The learned Government Pleader for Services, appearing for respondents, states that the 1st respondent will consider the said representations within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order, and communicate his decision thereon to petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the said representations within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order, and communicate his decision thereon to petitioner. No order as to costs. 5.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
