This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of respondent No.4 in mutating his name in the revenue records and issue Pattadar Pass books and title deeds in respect of land admeasuring Acs.2.05 guntas in Survey No.149, situated at Kistampet Village, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District, in spite of submitting a written application, dated 28.06.2018, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue representing the respondents and perused the record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner and possessor of the land admeasuring Acs.2.05 guntas in Survey No.149, situated at Kistampet Village, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District, having purchased the same on 04.02.2014 from its lawful owner Gudishela Rajam, for a valuable sale consideration. He submitted an application, dated 28.06.2018, to the 4th respondent/ Tahsildar, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District, to mutate his name in the revenue records and issue Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds in respect of the aforementioned land. The authorities concerned have not acted upon the said representation yet.

The copies of documents filed by the petitioner would reveal that the petitioner is the owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.2.05 guntas in Survey No.149, situated at Kistampet Village, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the petitioner has not submitted an application to the authorities concerned in Form-6A prescribed under Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, to mutate the aforementioned land in his name and for issue of Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deed.

Under these circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application to respondent No.4/ Tahsildar, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial Disrtrict, in Form-6A prescribed under Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, to mutate the aforementioned land in his name and for issue of Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deeds. On filing of such application, the 4th respondent/ Tahsildar, Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District, is directed to examine and dispose of the same, under the provisions of Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, expeditiously. 6 .

With the above observation/ direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
