This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in proceeding with investigation in Crime Nos.83 of 2018, 107 of 2018, 144 of 2018 and 213 of 2018 of Karepally Police Station, Khammam District, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to initiate immediate necessary action on the complaint, dated 13.11.2018, lodged by him with the 3rd respondent/ Station House Officer, Karepally Police Station, Khammam District. 2 .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the record.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the police concerned have initiated necessary action against the offenders. There is progress in the investigation and ultimately prayed to dismiss the Writ Petition.

It is pertinent to state that the aforementioned crimes were registered in the year 2018. The Station House Officer concerned has to investigate the cases and file Final Report before the Court concerned. Under these circumstances, the 4th respondent/ Station House Officer, Karepalli Police Station, Khammam District, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime Nos.83 of 2018,

107 of 2018, 144 of 2018 and 213 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible, and file Final Report before the Court concerned. 5 .

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
