The present writ petition is came to be filed, seeking issuance of writ of habeas corpus, holding that the action of the 4th respondent in detaining the petitioner's husband Syed Khaja Peer, S/o Syed Ameer Basha in 4th respondent police station from 28.02.2018 as illegal and arbitrary.

A Counter affidavit has been filed by the 4th respondent i.e., G.Amarnath Reddy, Sub Inspector of Police and Station House Officer of II Town Police Station, Kadapa, YSR Kadapa District, stating that the detenu was arrested by the police of Gooty Police Station, Ananthapuram District on 14-3-2018 in Crime No.135 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 34 of IPC. He placed on record a copy of the Remand Report, showing registration of the crime, arrest and production of the detenu before the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Gooty.

In view of the above circumstances, we feel that nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the same

is accordingly dismissed. No costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
