COMMON ORDER:

Since the issue raised in these two writ petitions is similar, they are disposed of by this common order.

These two writ petitions are filed alleging that respondent authorities are threatening to dispossess the first petitioner from his peaceful possession and enjoyment of property admeasuring 0.37 cents in Survey NO. 347 and Ac.1.31 cents in Survey No. 347/1, Vikruthamala revenue village, Yerpedu mandal, Chittoor district and second petitioner from her peaceful possession and enjoyment of property admeasuring 0.12 cents in Survey NO. 347/1A and Ac.0.76 cents in Survey No. 347/2 Vikruthamala revenue village, Yerpedu mandal, Chittoor district.

This Court in WPMP No. 56079 of 2016 in WP No. 45496 of 2016 by order dated 20.1.2017 directed to maintain status obtaining as on that date and in WP No. 3763 of 2017 by order dated 3.2.2017 initially directed to maintain status for a period of six weeks and later by order dated 17.3.2017 extended the interim order for six more weeks.

WVMP No. 2667 of 2017 in WP No. 45496 of 2016 and WVMP No. 2627 of 2017 in WP No. 3763 of 2017 are filed 5th respondent/APIIC. 5.

When vacate petitions are taken up, learned Government Pleader for Assignments brought to the notice of this Court proceedings D. Dis No.(E4)/762/2017 dated 28.7.2017 by the Joint Collector, Chittoor holding that no DKT pattas were granted to the petitioners for the above mentioned extends of lands, therefore directed the Tahasildar for deletion of the entries made in the Revenue Records.

In view of the orders passed by the Joint Collector, Chittoor dated 28.7.2017, cause in the writ petitions do not survive and they are liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed. However, it is needless to observe that if so advised, petitioners can avail the appropriate remedies as available to them in law against the orders passed by the Joint Collector dated 28.7.2017. No costs.

Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
