ORDER:

This Civil Revision Petition is filed assailing order dated 26-4-2017 in I.A.No.180/2017 in A.S.No.3 of 2016 on the file of the learned Special Sessions Judge for Trial of cases under SCs & STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act-cum-Additional District & Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, whereby the learned Special Judge has refused to advance the hearing of the Appeal which stood posted to 19-7-2017, to a date earlier than the said date.

I am not inclined to interfere with the order of the lower Court for two reasons, namely, (i) the adjourned date i.e., 19-7-2017 is fast approaching and therefore it was wholly unnecessary for the petitioners to file this revision petition; and (ii) in view of the pendency of cases which are much older than the appeal pertaining to the petitioners, there is no justification for them to seek its early disposal. For both these reasons, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed.

As a sequel to the dismissal of the Civil Revision Petition, CRPMP No.4302 of 2017 is disposed of as infructuous. ________________________ Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy Date : 14-07-2017 AM
